Introduction
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Group Consolidations & Treasury Accountant, also known as a Group Financial Manager, based in Houghton.
This role is a key building block in supporting the CFO function, playing a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, fostering transparency, and ensuring effective financial management and performance of the group.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing strategic financial guidance to support overall goals.
- Managing budgets and forecasts processes.
- Overseeing accounting activities and cost control.
- Implementing or improving financial controls and models/templates.
- Assisting with preparing Board and other presentations.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar financial management role, preferably within a listed group structure or multi-entity environment.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, ERP systems, and Excel skills.
