The primary requirement for this position will be to effectively source and identify qualified candidates, with a strong focus on candidates with a disability, to fulfill various job or learnership vacancies for client companies. It will have a strong focus on utilizing various channels and strategies to build a strong pipeline of potential candidates and maintain a comprehensive database for current and future needs.
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
- 2 -3 Years recruitment experience, that involves candidate sourcing and screening, candidate engagement.
- University, school or learning institution networking experience (advantageous).
Candidate Sourcing and screening:
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Maintain a database of suitable candidates aligned to EAP targets and client needs.
- Ensure all necessary documentation are received from candidates and verified.
- Conduct initial assessments and screenings of candidates to evaluate their qualifications, experience, and suitability for specific roles.
- Shortlist candidates according to client requirements and arrange candidate interviews.
- Ensure necessary checks and verification are completed as per requirements.
Candidate Engagement:
- Develop and maintain ongoing communication with candidates to keep them informed about job opportunities, provide feedback, and build rapport for future opportunities.
- Ensure candidates shortlisted for opportunities are continuously being updated on next steps.
Database Management:
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date candidate database, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records of candidate profiles, qualifications, skills, and contact information.
- Ensure all recruitment documentation are systematically dealt with and filed accordingly.
- Completion of required monthly reports.
Networking:
- Build and nurture relationships with industry professionals, alumni networks, and other sources to expand the pool of potential candidates and referrals.
- Distribute marketing material to relevant stakeholders.
- Plan and arrange regular engagement sessions and advertising campaigns with network.
- Provide network with feedback on referred candidates.
Collaboration
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to understand their needs, requirements and preferences.
- Providing continuous and timely support and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
Market Research
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to adapt sourcing strategies and identify emerging talent pools.
Metrics Tracking
- Monitor and analyze sourcing metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding candidate data privacy, equal employment opportunity, and other relevant matters.
- Ensure candidate files are complete and handed over according to deadlines.
