To drive business solutioning strategy execution and provide strategic support for its implementation. Provides holistic (strategic and operational) business solutioning support and expertise across all markets with a focus on strategy execution, product operational excellence, risk management, and sustainable portfolio profitability. This is a key leadership role, and you will be responsible for developing and executing portfolio strategies as well as designing and implementing product management processes to empower our product teams, to ensure seamless product operations and overall efficiency.
More About the Role:
- Partner with the business head and leads to embed the BCB strategy and ensure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual strategic operational and business plans, actions, and objectives as well as monitor implementation and impact.
- Stay abreast of market and competitive developments in order to identify, define, and develop innovative responses to market themes (products and value-added services) which can be scaled across countries and segments.
- Identify opportunities for product profitability optimization through the relevant risk/reward trade-offs. Monitor Product economics (includes pricing and margin management) across products and countries.
- Develop business cases to ascertain commercial viability of new product solutions/revenue streams/opportunities etc., informed by in-depth research and analysis and support the introduction of products into markets.
- Monitor product risk management landscape and support proactive risk management. Drive product process optimization, operational efficiencies, and ensure timely response to audit and risk matters.
- Manage the running of the business solutioning committees and reporting of business solutioning into other group committees.
- Manage special projects to drive strategy implementation, operational excellence, and risk management in business solutioning across markets.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Postgraduate Degree
Field of Study: Business Commerce
Experience Required
Minimum of 10 years experience in banking with exposure to strategy enablement and business process management. Proven experience and understanding in product enablement, product management as well as product development processes and technologies.
Key experience and expertise in the following: Product and Project Management, Risk Management, and strong Financial Management experience (Sales Revenue Target and P/L Responsibility).
