The above vacancy exists in our On-Sites Sales department at our Head Office, reporting to the Sales Manager: On-Sites. Overview & Key Responsibilities This role is responsible for developing On-Sites Sale of Gas (SOG) and Sale of Equipment (SOE) opportunities. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Prospecting, proposal development and tendering; Responsible for commercial and contractual negotiation; Lead commercial activities during the project execution phase to ensure success. Long-term stewardship of customer contracts; Ensuring ongoing growth and sustainability of the On-Sites business division; Responsible for carrying out general administrative tasks. Essential Requirements A completed BSc Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, MBA (advantageous); A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a commercial or sales function; Must have good knowledge of the Chemical, Metals and Mining industries ; Must have the ability to network, negotiate and persuade at various levels; Must be target-driven and customer service oriented; Must have excellent communication skills; High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to handle complex spreadsheets; A valid unendorsed code B (or higher) drivers license;
