We have a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a large manufacturing company at the heart of the operation in Flint. This is a permanent opportunity for the right candidate with machine operating experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines on the production floor.
- Pack, palletise, load lids, and replenish materials during production
- Maintain quality assurance by checking for defects and maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors in a respectful manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of packing, palletising, and machine operating.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Knowledge of material replenishment in a production setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in production demands.
- Commitment to health and safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail to avoid unnecessary mistakes/costs
- Good understanding of production processes
Benefits
- Rate of pay: 12.50 during probationary period rising to 13.03 upon successful completion of probationary period / relevant training. ( Starting salary, once trained)
- Pension - 3% employee 3% employer
- Holidays - the holiday year runs from 1st January - 31st December. Equivalent to 23 days plus bank holidays (please note the regular 6 day breaks within the pattern are in addition to the holidays mentioned)
