Job Purpose As our QA Manager, you will spearhead our quality assurance initiatives, ensuring that our products adhere to the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your role will involve developing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments and controls, and collaborating closely with various departments to drive continuous improvement. Your leadership will be vital in nurturing a culture of quality throughout the organization. Reporting To Head of Quality and NPD Key Responsibilities Create and implement comprehensive quality assurance policies, procedures, and product specifications in line with FSSC and customer requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits of products, processes, and systems to ensure compliance. Train and inspire staff on quality assurance practices, protocols, and product specifications. Oversee quality monitoring programs and manage quality metrics/key performance indicators. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation, identify areas for improvement, and initiate corrective actions. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in quality assurance. Address and resolve any quality-related issues or concerns swiftly and effectively. Participate in product development and process improvement projects at the respective plant(s). Requirements Qualification Requirements Degree in Food Sciences or a related field. Experience A proven track record of 2-3 years in quality assurance supervision or a related area. Competencies Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and standards. Excellent organizational and leadership qualities. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Resilience and adaptability.
