We are representing a fast-growing, medium-sized manufacturing company, committed to delivering high-quality products, and are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.
The company supplies stone products direct to end users through its retail stores, and is currently based in the Southern Suburbs, Western Cape . The role calls for a loyal, and experienced individual, who has a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Monitor expenses, reconcile GL accounts.
- Oversee Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Finance qualification e.g., degree, bookkeeping diploma.
- At least 7+ years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance.
- Proficient in accounting software, ideally SAGE and Pastel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary:
- R25 000 - R30 000 CTC per month. Highly dependent on candidate experience and qualifications.
