We are a reputable accounting firm seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will support our daily administrative operations, focusing on accounting and tax compliance tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to work in a structured, quiet office environment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Co-ordinate and schedule appointments for meetings and client consultations.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other client and stakeholder inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain and organize our digital filing system to ensure smooth access to documents.
- Assist with all SARS-related administrative tasks, including tax compliance and submission processes.
- Liaise with clients and SARS to handle queries, documentation, and follow-ups.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Matric is required; a relevant qualification in office administration or a related field is an advantage.
- Must be seeking a half-day position (full-time applicants will not be considered).
- Previous experience in office administration or a similar role is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Adobe PDF, PowerApps, MS Planner, and OneDrive is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SARS eFiling and common tax-related documents (EMP201, EMP501, ITSA, VAT201).
- Familiarity with CIPC and UIF procedures will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles is an added advantage.

Requirements :
- Must not be running their own business.
- Must have reliable transportation or live near Century City.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
