Responsibilities:
- Manage Customer Satisfaction.
- Expert knowledge and custodian of specific SAP and other applicable applications in the Finance, Controlling, Procure to Pay and Plant Maintenance domain, including supporting utilities, related systems and Cross module integration and support.
- Service Level Management – adherence to Service levels as agreed between IM and its stakeholders.
- High-level specification of technical enhancements or new developments.
- Maintenance and development requests (exploration, business case, approval process, planning, design, configuration, testing and implementation).
- Communication of change to users.
- Adherence to standards.
- Continuous Improvement drive and efficiency of Support within ArcelorMittal South Africa.
- Population of a solution database to improve turnaround of maintenance and support logs.
- Interaction with 3rd party suppliers and management of the quotation and approval process.
- Continuous exposure and participation in new technology introduction.
- Participation in Special Interest Groups and other local expert groups.
Qualification:
- B-Degree / HND / B-Tech in Finance or Information Technology (NQF 7/10).
- Certification in the Finance and/or Controlling modules of SAP will be advantageous.
Experience and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in the specified Business Process Environment (Finance and/or Controlling and/or Treasury and/or Asset Management).
- Minimum 2 years experience in SAP Finance, Controlling ERP environment.
- In-depth knowledge of integration of SAP CO with SAP Production Planning and PP-PI.
- Knowledge of Material Ledger, New GL, Profitability Analysis will be advantageous.
- SAP configuration and implementation experience.
- Business knowledge.
- Exposure and understanding of the following:
- Costing and budgeting principles.
- Financial systems, principles and associated business acumen.
- Balance Sheet optimization (inventory levels and material costing).
- Integration between SAP Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, Finance and Controlling.
- Treasury.
- Profitability analysis.
