Job Description: Head of Compensation & Benefits
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Head of Compensation & Benefits to lead our rewards team. This is a full-time position based in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in rewards strategy and policy development, particularly in the BPO and call centre sectors.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and update Compensation & Benefits policies and ensure effective communication of these policies to employees.
- Partner with the Global Rewards team to develop monthly and quarterly dashboards and analysis of compensation and benefits metrics.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and pricing of jobs to ensure competitive compensation structures.
- Manage data processes as required by internal and external sources, including resolving data errors and partnering with HR shared services as necessary.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and analyses of compensation data, and partner with HR Business Partners and management to review findings and provide actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with other HR team members and functional areas to investigate and resolve escalated employee issues related to compensation and benefits.
Essential Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits role, preferably within a BPO or call centre environment.
Desired Experience
- Proven experience leading compensation and benefits programs at an organizational level.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures with a focus on benefits and compensation planning.
- Ability to design and implement effective communication strategies for compensation and benefits policies.
- Experience in managing data processes and working with shared HR services for compensation-related tasks.
