Our client in the Retail Industry requires the services of a Stock Forecaster to ensure optimum stock levels.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key performance areas:
- System coordination for supplier accounts to optimize the most profitable order patterns/frequency
- Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting results
- Place supplier purchase orders to ensure achievement of inventory and service
- Promotional planning and replenishment
- Project management
- Data analysis and reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a relevant degree
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Computer literate (Excel – Advanced would be advantageous)
- Product and market knowledge
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Proven leadership skills
