Job Overview: The role sits within a newly created team, allowing us to significantly improve the way we engage with our internal teams across South Africa and UK Operations. It will focus on building and leading a strategic communications plan, with the responsibility to drive engagement and supporting activity for all of our colleagues. The role, based in Foreshore, Cape Town , will provide the opportunity to work across various subjects and teams, utilising a number of communication methods in the aim of reaching our wide-ranging audiences across our growing organisation. Understanding change delivery plans, senior leadership and business requirements will be a key requirement within this role, enabling the effective co-ordination and communication of new and improving initiatives. Ensuring internal communications reach the right people at the right time, with the right messages, supporting our colleagues to deliver their roles brilliantly. You will report directly to the Head of Communications, Change and Training, and will work closely with colleagues across our South Africa and United Kingdom Operations, and our wider operational support teams including, Payroll, Finance, Planning, HR, Talent and Development for example. Curiosity about people, communications and a passion for engagement are a must. Job Responsibilities: Tailor and deliver a wide range of impactful communication services, including strategic planning and stakeholder engagement which are aligned and are consistent with Huntswoods brand. Drive awareness and penetration rates of the communication platforms currently used, building opportunities for future development of the communications strategy to support colleagues day in day out utilising key messages which help to deliver their roles seamlessly. Responsible for crafting statements and key messages required at short notice and aligned to internal incident response team requirements. Manage a small team of communication and content leads, to deliver an outstanding service to our UK and SA Operational teams. Job Requirements: National Senior Certificate-Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar field Minimum 2 year experience within a BPO change role Minimum 1 year experience within a management role Extensive experience of communicating across multiple channels and geographies. Skills Required: Exceptional writing and editing skills, ability to write persuasively and across various styles adapting to the audience with transparency . Strong Communication skills, comfortable to present and convey clear messages at a senior level and across all operational and support teams. Strong planning and organisational skills, understanding the target audience to build and deliver engaging materials within set and sometimes stretching timescales. Ability to think about the bigger picture, utilising colleague insight from your voice surveys to support short term improvements and build long-term strategic goals. Approachable and adaptable to a fast-paced environment, building key stakeholder engagement channels which support future communication success.
