BRANCH MANAGER (PLANT AND HEAVY EQUIPMENT)/PORT ELIZABETH - Our Client a Leader in the distribution of construction and forklift equipment is recruiting for a Branch Manager with strong knowledge in the Forklift Industry as well as a technical background/ trade certificate
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
B.Com in Management or similar
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in People Management, Sales and Parts Management, General Management
Strong Technical knowledge (forklifts, and heavy plant equipment, Operations and Maintenance) - (Trade Certificate advantageous)
Administratively strong, with financial interpretation aptitude
High level of problem-solving ability
3 years Workshop, Parts, or well rounded electrical, mechanical, parts, and hydraulic experience ( Advantageous)
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's)
Ensure achievement of Targets in line with Budget requirements: Manage daily Sales, including Rental, Parts and Service targets vs actual performance, reacting timeously to any identified problems.
Manage and facilitate Work in Progress: Manage and facilitate all Work in Progress (WIP) by continuously monitoring the status of ongoing tasks ie. open jobs, accurate processing of warranty claims to ensure claim fitness etc.
Branch Management: Continuously monitor and analyse branch financial performance, revenue, expense and optimize profitability. Implement cost-effective strategies and identify and address any deviations promptly.
Effective Staff Management: Ensure effective staff training, mentoring, coaching and management of staff within the branch
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the area
