Key Responsibilities
- Project Design & Development: Lead the design and development of innovative, sustainable process solutions for water, wastewater, and biosolids treatment systems.
- Process Optimization: Assess and optimize existing treatment processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and environmental compliance.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee process design quality, documentation, and adherence to project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to define project objectives, address technical queries, present solutions, and support business development activities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet relevant industry standards, environmental regulations, and client specifications.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering (Master's preferred); ECSA certification required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in water, wastewater, or biosolids process engineering within consulting or contracting firms.
- In-depth expertise in water and wastewater treatment processes, including advanced biological, chemical, and physical methods.
- Strong knowledge of biosolids and sludge treatment, including anaerobic digestion, composting, and advanced dewatering processes.
- Thorough understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in process modeling software and standard engineering tools.
- Excellent analytical, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in mid- to large-scale projects, multidisciplinary collaboration, and team leadership.
- Commitment to integrating sustainability practices in design projects.
