The role
Proposition Operations is responsible for the accuracy of customer calculations for all our regulated products, we specify, test, and implement changes to illustration systems, policy administration calculations, databases, and rates tables. In addition, support is provided for the maintenance of these systems and databases, as well as any required remediation of customer policies. We also provide information and technical support to a range of internal and external customers and third-party suppliers.
You will be working as part of a team to ensure that customer calculations are correct within our pension and savings systems. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including analysing and ensuring calculations are correct as well as building, testing and maintaining calculation models/tools.
What We're Looking For
- High level of numeracy or experience of working with calculations
- Experience of test planning, preparation and execution
- Experience of analysing either requirements, regulations or existing pension systems
- Evidence of strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Ideally have knowledge of Life and Pensions products and knowledge of SQL and VBA
