Another key aspect of your role will be to lead on numerous processimprovement projects, with the aim of streamlining all activities, both foryourself and the team members you manage. Job Description Your role will be pivotal in the overall management, control, organisation anddirection of either Outbound or Inbound operational areas of your FC on nightshift. Your responsibilities will include, amongst others: - Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, whilepromoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-site, - Become a subject matter expert on specific, larger-scale processes andactivities within FCs, such as 5S audits, - In your inventory control and systems environment, you’ll manage timelydata collection, updating operations metrics on an hourly basis, - Therefore, you’ll aim to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost perunit, eliminate errors and ensure an excellent customer experience, - Work closely with other support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety andSecurity, IT) on staffing plans, schedules and performance levels, - Implement process change and contribute in cross-functional Six Sigmainitiatives within your site and the broader Amazon EU Operations network, Key job responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of Area Managers (2-4 front-line supervisorsdepending on shift and activity levels) and 100-300 hourly associates forinbound operations within the Fulfillment Center. Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customerexperience of the shift. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’spolicies and procedures. Accountability for meeting and exceeding operational goals. Strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; reward anddiscipline employees; resolve problems; and address staffing needs. Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression and learning Ability to develop and share best practices across the shifts and network.This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive processimprovements and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth whilemotivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-drivenenvironment. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree (or working towards a bachelor’s degree) . Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English.
