Criteria: Trade Certificate Red Seal Diesel Mechanic Certification highly recommended OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Certification will be advantageous 5 years of diesel mechanic experience Computer literacy (for e-mail and reporting purposes) Strong diagnostic and repair skills Proficiency with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Good level of proficiency in the English language (read, speak and write) Ability to work independently and within a team Be in possession of a valid drivers license Key responsibilities: Maintain, service, and repair the companys fleet of heavy-duty vehicles, including engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues effectively Compile detailed service reports for each vehicle, documenting maintenance, repairs, and parts use Communicate effectively with management regarding vehicle servicing schedules, ongoing maintenance, and any critical issues Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities
