Our client is a privately owned business that have a range of premium products that they sell in over 100 countries. The position reports to the CEO and includes a pathway to the Group Financial Controller role.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Oversee financial controls, prepare consolidated management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, and manage payroll and pricing integrity.
- Audit & Compliance: Handle relationships with auditors, ensure timely completion of audits, and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax laws.
- Taxation: Review VAT returns and submit corporation tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC.
- IT Management: Lead software strategy and management.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of two finance professionals.
Qualifications:- Experience: 3-5 years in similar roles, with industry experience.
- Education: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong software implementation experience; familiarity with SAP Business One, MS Power BI, and MS Dynamics is advantageous.
