Mission:
As a pivotal member of our engineering team, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and take the lead in empowering and motivating multiple teams of Mechanical and Development Engineers. Your focus will be on the new product design and development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, driving innovation and excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Guide Mechanical Engineering teams through project milestones, fostering collaboration and cohesion.
- Best Practices: Advocate for and implement best practices in mechanical engineering to enhance delivery timelines, quality, and compliance.
- Validation & Verification: Ensure product development meets stakeholder requirements with robust validation and verification plans.
- Budget Management: Oversee mechanical engineering budgets and contribute to financial forecasting.
- Innovation: Identify opportunities for intellectual property and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Mentorship: Provide expert advice and support the professional development of engineers through formal and informal mentoring.
Experience & Skills:
- Extensive Experience: Over 10 years in practical Mechanical Engineering within a regulated, compliance-driven industry.
- Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience in recruiting and hiring both emerging talent and seasoned professionals.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional influencing and negotiation abilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Project Management: Strong project and budget management skills with a focus on accountability.
- Coaching Ability: Effective in coaching and teaching best practices in Mechanical Engineering.
