Our client is a busy manufacturing business based in Stoke on Trent, they are seeking a proactive, hands-on Production Manager to run their team. This successful candidate will lead and motivate the team and develop the manufacturing capability of the site. This role will require someone who can adapt to changes within the business and lead the team effectively. This role will be more shopfloor-based.

- Proven record of achieving output, quality, to plan.
- Experience within a quality-assured business in a similar manufacturing industry.
You will be expected to:
- Be comfortable spending time on the shop floor
- Be fastidious about record-keeping
- Know basic HR legal requirements
- Have experience in carrying out appraisals and disciplinary and improvement plans
- Be a strong leader with exceptional teamwork ethics a motivator
Essential
- Good standard of I.T. Knowledge including Excel and the ability to use these effectively to analyse data
- Ability to work within a small team where the total responsibility for day-to-day production is vested in you
- Full clean driving licence
Preferable
- Previous role within a multi-product manufacturing business or a role where multitasking and/or a variety of management activities were carried out daily
- A single-line process manager may not be suited to this role because of the ever-changing nature of this bespoke business
Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 am- 4:45 pm
Salary: £40,000 Per Annum
