ALG Boerdery , a leader in the citrus industry for over 100 years (based in Citrusdal), has an opportunity available for an energetic individual to join their management team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the local packaging of citrus, and managing marketing efforts, to supply major chain stores across South Africa. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager, and will play a vital role in the effective operations of packing and distribution processes. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Assist with marketing of citrus for the South African Market Assisting with day to day management of local packhouse staff, professionalism Ensure that all regulations are obeyed, as required by audit standards Ensure that all fruit handling and packaging protocols are adhered to Stock and packing material management Collecting and managing data and data systems Managing customers orders and logistics where applicable Planning and problem-solving, which include good housekeeping inside the warehouse and at employees workstations Responsible for building and maintaining good interpersonal relationship within the team All other tasks related to this position Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Supply Chain Management is preferable, but not a requisite; Good computer literacy (MS Office); Valid drivers license and own reliable transport.
