As a Junior Payroll Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll-related financial transactions. You will assist in reconciling payroll accounts with the general ledger, calculating wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes, and supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll accounting documentation. The ideal candidate will have or be working towards a BCom degree in Finance and possess 1-2 years of experience in payroll accounting or general finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, and experience with payroll systems, particularly Sage 300, is a must. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
