Grid SHEQ Manager required for a reputable construction company based in East London , Eastern Cape
Requirements:
- 5-8 years SHEQ Management experience within the construction industry
- Safety qualifications and certificates essential
- ISO 45001,9001,14001 management systems experience
- Strong health and safety regulations knowledge in the construction industry
- Ability to facilitate SHEQ internal and external audits and ensure these are scheduled and conducted at each project site
- Risk management experience
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain ISO 45001,9001,14001 management systems in all projects within the Grid
- Establish, implement and maintaining effective hazard identification and risk management, environmental aspect and impact processes and procedures to ensure that all reasonably foreseeable hazards and environmental aspects are controlled to minimise risk
- Review monthly health and safety , environmental and quality reports prepared by the officers and prepare consolidated monthly SHEQ performance reports for submission to the group SHEQ/Risk Manager
- Promote continuous improvement through effective communication , coaching , mentoring and forming collaborative relationships with team members
