Oversee Wheat Cleaning, Conditioning, and Milling operations to ensure optimal performance. Manage and supervise milling staff, including shift planning and scheduling. Optimize extraction rates, product quality, and production volume through effective process control. Conduct machine adjustments and calibrations to maintain consistent milling performance. Oversee routine maintenance activities and ensure timely completion. Implement and monitor quality control measures, including product testing and analysis. Plan and execute production schedules in alignment with operational goals. Manage wheat gristing operations to meet production requirements. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and protocols. Provide leadership in handling machine breakdowns and organizing repairs. Facilitate ongoing staff training to ensure a highly skilled workforce. SAGMA/GMF Wheat Milling Qualification (Certified Wheat Miller). Minimum of 5 years experience in a milling role. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Additional tertiary qualifications are advantageous. A technical background will be an added advantage.
