- Matric or Senior Certification equivalent.
- MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Minimum of 5 years Sales experience, preferably in the Logistics Industry.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Development of New Business:
- Focus on new business revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
- Prepare tenders, reports, presentations, and approve rates for types of customers.
- Generate and follow up on qualified leads.
- Analyze clients’ needs, propose courier solutions, and close deals.
- Ensure continuous follow-up on pending clients by the Sales Team.
- Manage and retain client relationships, providing professional service, including after-sales service and regular follow-ups.
- Sales Targets and Administration:
- Exceed sales objectives by promoting and selling courier services.
- Consistently achieve relevant product/monthly targets.
- Submit weekly call reports to the General Manager.
- Keep the pipeline up to date.
- Manage internal administrative processes.
- Attend meetings and submit weekly stats.
- Ensure commission sheets are signed off by the General Manager and submitted to HR.
- Product Knowledge:
- Learn new product knowledge and acquire improved selling skills.
- Stay informed about competition services and markets.
- Communication:
- Ensure effective communication between Sales Teams and supporting departments.
- Respond to and assist with Sales department queries.
- Maintain effective communication with the General Manager and colleagues.
Skills:
- Ability to generate sales leads and close deals.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Target-driven.
