Business Development Manager
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help a manufacturer of VSD and PLC’s expand their clientele.
You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through sales of VSD’s and PLC’s and forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts for prospective resellers
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
- Utilize CRM software to record pertinent data forthcoming from sales representatives
- Make calls and conduct direct sales calls in the region daily
- Manage and develop business for variable frequency drives and PLC’s in the region through various prospecting and marketing activities
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- Experience in variable frequency drives (VSD), PLC’s and industrial automation is essential
- A sales-based history of employment in Electrical Automation products or similar
- Knowledge of CRM system and process
- Knowledge of MS Windows/MS Word, MS PowerPoint & MS Excel
Package & Remuneration
R45 000 to R50 000 per month
