Job Summary
Deliver a high impact industrialisation and localisation program to ensure Siemens Energy compliance and fulfilment of contractual obligations of South African industrialization and local content policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industrialisation and Local Content Strategy, Implementation and Tracking: Development of SE ZA industrialisation and local content strategy, end-to-end process for compliance approvals, internal-external stakeholder management, tracking, reporting and budget control/accountability, internal-external communication strategy, grant funding applications.
2. NIPP: DTIC interface on NIPP agreements (Strategic Partnership Agreement, Obligation Agreement etc) and Business Concept submission, approval, signing, revision and review. NIPP obligation tracking as well as oversight of NIPP Business Plan preparation, DTIC approval and submission of bi-annual progress reports. Oversight and project management support on NIPP Business Plan including implementation support and oversight of credit mechanism with relevant BAs.
3. BBBEE: Leverage synergies across BBBEE and NIPP policy requirements to ensure compliance and deliver high impact co-benefits for SE and RSA.
4. MEA Synergies: leverage and create synergies with African and Middle East opportunities within Siemens Energy Hub MEA
Skills Requirements
1. Energy industry knowledge, energy industry localisation and industrialisation policy and regulatory frameworks, industry-specific requirements, project management, analytics, communication, negotiation, research, reporting, performance tracking, team-work, attention to detail, problem solving and ethics
Qualifications and Experience
1. Business Administration, Energy Economics, Project Management or related field with experience managing localisation and local content portfolio in a large energy sector multinational
