Bench Repair Operator
Location: Grangemouth, FK3
Pay: £11.44/hr (Training Rate) | £13.15/hr (Fully Trained Rate)
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm
Shift Pattern: Nightshift
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm
- After Training: Night Shift - 10pm - 6am

This is a rare opportunity to become part of a prestigious, family-owned business with over five generations of timber manufacturing expertise. As they continue their expansion plans into 2024, we are looking for experienced Bench Repair Operators to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
What Will You Do as a Bench Repair Operator?
You’ll be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing directly to our client’s operations by:
- Assessing broken pallets to determine whether they can be repaired or need to be scrapped.
- Using power tools to repair pallets, with the size of each repair varying.
- Dismantling pallets that cannot be repaired.
- Working towards daily targets of 275 pallets, ensuring you’re on track for increased pay!
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking candidates with:
- Experience using power tools (essential for the role).
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to make accurate repair decisions.
- A positive work ethic and a desire to hit targets and earn those higher pay rates!
What We Offer You:
- Temp-to-perm contract with a guaranteed 37.5-hour workweek.
- Training rate of £11.44 per hour — once you hit targets, you’ll earn up to £13.15 per hour.
