We're seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer to be the hero behind the scenes! You'll be the mastermind architecting and optimizing the AI infrastructure that powers next-gen applications. You must have 3+ years of experience in DevOps with a passion for AI, ML, and data engineering. Experience with NVIDIA AI Enterprise and Python/Bash Scripting as well as Docker/Kubernetes is required together with a solid understanding of Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deployment. You must have your own transport and be willing to travel (if needed).

Salary: R60 000 – R65 000 pm

Area: Onsite in Johannesburg

Responsibilities

Design and manage the infrastructure that fuels our AI models and services, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Leverage cutting-edge tools like NVIDIA AI Enterprise to streamline deployments and maximize the power of GPUs.
Become an automation wizard, crafting scripts and CI/CD pipelines specifically tailored for AI workloads using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Circle CI.
Collaborate closely with data scientists and ML engineers, ensuring seamless integration of AI models into real-world applications.
Implement robust monitoring to keep our AI systems running smoothly and efficiently. Analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and become a tuning pro to optimize AI applications.
Be a champion for best practices, guiding the team on efficient workflows and the best tools for AI development.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in DevOps, with a passion for AI, ML, and data engineering.
Experience with NVIDIA AI Enterprise is a plus, but your enthusiasm for AI matters most!
Proficiency in Python, scripting languages (Bash), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
A solid understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deployment.
The ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and solve problems with a smile.
A proactive, self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points if you're familiar with:

Service Fabric, Redis, Rancher, ASP.NET, .Net Core, RabbitMQ, Elastic Stack
AI Platforms (Nvidia, OpenShift AI, etc.)
AI Models (HuggingFace, GPT, etc.)
