Marketing Manager, Pet Health and DTC Marketing owns related marketing strategy and works in alignment with Commercial leaders (Heads of Sales) in designing and implementing appropriate market specific strategies that prioritise Pet Health Brands and direct to consumer marketing execution.
Job description:
The Marketing Manager will lead or play a substantial role in the development and execution of marketing plans for specific brands, ensuring alignment to global strategies and business objectives. The Marketing Manager will interact with key suppliers, including agencies and participate in multiple internal and external cross-functional teams, executing as follows:
Develop and align on strategic marketing plans for focus brands, in accordance with global strategy for global brands and independently for local brands (key driver). Create and implement online and offline marketing activities that enable commercial deliverables. Provide ongoing support, guidance, and training to sales teams to ensure all promotional materials, events, and customer value selling, support marketing priorities and objectives. Grow and maintain expertise of product portfolio, services, competition and market and industry trends Manage allocated marketing budget appropriately, maximising ROI, across considered time frames. Influence and drive appropriate pricing strategies with commercial team Own the Product Portfolio: steering pipeline innovation projects (initiation through to launch), work with responsible functions regularly evaluating cost reduction opportunities and drive profit maximization / optimization strategies. Maintain high compliance standards, ensuring systems/processes are in place to identify changing requirements and implement latest policies/procedures.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Align/drive marketing strategies together with commercial teams, leveraging support of dedicated Technical Consultants in creating appropriately technical marketing messages. Partner with Regulatory function to drive Innovation and Life Cycle Management agenda Partner with supply and quality to influence product availability and reduce inventory risk. Work efficiently with responsible functions to assure smooth and full promotional material compliance with industry and internal requirements Engage with the internal global marketing community to enable sharing of best practice and continuous learning.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience
Professional marketing qualification together with +3 years’ experience building/executing Pet Health and direct to consumer marketing strategies. Master’s level degree, preferred but Bachelors degree, a minimum. String written and verbal communication skills in English. Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications Current driver’s license

Location and travel
