Job title : Commercial Manager (Cape Town)
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Understand clients' needs and business objectives to offer tailored solutions.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives for all accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategie to capture additional revenue.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and services to all accounts.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
- Monitor and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Develop and execute account plans to drive long-term growth and client satisfaction.
- Align sales and marketing efforts with the company's strategic goals.
- Provide regular reports and updates on account performance and market trends to senior management.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and
- customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and drive overall sales performance.
- Analyse sales data and market feedback to continuously improve strategies and tactics.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and marketing efforts.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or in a similar sales/marketing role.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
