Hire Resolve’s client, a leading mining company in Mpumalanga, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Stakeholder Relations Co-Ordinator to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. Identify and assess key stakeholders and their interests, concerns, and expectations. Facilitate effective communication and engagement with stakeholders through various channels. Coordinate stakeholder meetings, consultations, and events. Gather and analyze stakeholder feedback and provide recommendations to the management team. Manage stakeholder databases and maintain accurate records of interactions and engagements. Monitor and report on stakeholder relations activities and outcomes. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in stakeholder relations.
Requirements:
BTech / National Diploma in Development Studies / Political Science Minimum of 3 years of experience in stakeholder relations or a similar role, preferably in the mining industry. Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement principles, strategies, and best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of local community dynamics and social issues in the mining industry is desirable.
