Hire Resolve is currently seeking a dedicated Safety Officer/Safety Representative to join their team. As a Safety Officer/Safety Rep, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of employees and compliance with industry regulations. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing safety programs
- Conducting risk assessments
- Providing safety training
- Promoting a culture of safety within the organization
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Provide safety training and education to employees
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain safety records and documentation
- Assist in the development of emergency response plans
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer/Safety Representative
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Relevant safety certifications or qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license
