Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Operations & Warehouse Manager in the electronics Industry in KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing warehouse operations and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness in the warehouse and on logistics routes. Manage all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, storage, tracking, and replenishment. Oversee order fulfillment processes, ensuring accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and manage stock availability. Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse layout, organization, and workflow to maximize space utilization and minimize errors. Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities to ensure consistent quality and compliance. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Optimize logistics and transportation processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers. Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and coaching. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to negotiate contracts and manage relationships. Prepare and present regular reports on operations metrics, cost savings, and supply chain performance to management.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven work experience in operations management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and order fulfillment processes. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in using technology and software applications related to operations and logistics. Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment.
