RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SKD PARTS WAREHOUSE FOREMAN for a well-established company based in the Pietermaritzburg area, KwaZulu-Natal .
JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Relevant qualifications / experience.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Manage stock control and reconcile with ERP system.
Plan SKD receiving schedule, resources and supervise unpacking.
Create new processes to improve SKD efficiency and ensure smooth running of general picking.
Ensure warehouse controls, safety, and cleanliness.
Manage waste disposal.
Staff management.
Ensuring deliver of parts to the line accurately and efficiently.
Deliveries to processing.
Organize and catalogue returns from processing.
Reorganization project.
New receiving project.
Oversee stripped parts that are returned from CPD.
Ensure maintenance and control of company assets.
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation.
Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
Ensure NRCS requirements are met.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
Prepare annual budget and monthly replenishment orders.
Assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc).
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
