Job Description
The role exists to manage audit related data analytics engagements. Including, but not limited to, end-to-end engagement management, training and upskilling of junior staff members, identifying and solutioning opportunities for stakeholder value creation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
§ Assist in planning, execution and reporting of data analytics/ CAATs projects for External Audit.
§ Assists in managing stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
§ Project Management:
o Planning:
§ Assists in planning of Audit Analytics Engagements (Scope of work, Budgets)
o Execution
§ Responsible for delivery of data analytics engagements.
§ Ensures that working papers /dashboards are in accordance with established department and firm methodologies.
o Reporting and Quality Management
§ Completion of reports are in line with established department and firm methodologies.
§ Quality assurance documents are completed timeously for each project.
§ Measurement of performance on each project is recorded and noted on the performance management system and or in line with ITCE guidelines.
§ Learning and development criteria is met through, on the job training, training attendance, training platform stats (Data Camp) etc.
Competencies: Technical & Behavioral Technical Competencies § Ability to understand business processes, risk and controls.
§ Ability to understand audit objectives and pose data analytic procedures and/or solutions to meet the said objective.
§ Ability to understand and frame client problem statements and put forward a data analytics. Behavioral Competencies § Ability to work in a team as well as ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements
Qualifications, Recognition of Prior Learning, Work Experience, and Knowledge Qualifications/Recognition of Prior Learning equivalent § B.Com Accounting, Informatics, Computer Science or relevant degree
§ Other relevant data and analytics certifications Work Experience § Minimum 1-2 years working experience in Data and Analytics/ Internal/ IT/ External AuditKnowledge § IDEA Analytics; SQL; Python; Alteryx; UiPath; Advanced Excel; R; Power BI; Qlikview.
§ Basic to intermediate Accounting, Auditing, risk and control principles.
§ Data extraction, transformation techniques.
§ Visualisation/ Dashboarding.
