Position Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, self-motivated, and driven individual to join the TFG Business Process Optimization and Technology Department based in Cape Town (Design Centre). The primary objective for this department is to build a clear roadmap for Technology implementation across all TFG Manufacturing sites to support the Merchandise Supply Chain division more effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible to oversee Planning Boards which have been deployed across multiple Manufacturing sites to manage full pre-production and production processes.
The incumbent’s roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Engage factory Planning Managers to ensure full utilization of Fastreact Planning Boards
- Ensure accuracy of work progression and events update on Fastreact
- Review and analyse Plan vs. Act with Planning Managers
- Display strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate identified opportunities to utilise the boards effectively
- Support and assist the Senior Business Process and Technology Manager in execution of System Strategies
- Work with business analysts to gather functional and reports requirements for systems implementation projects
- Assist with documentation of Manufacturing business processes
- Review current business and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with process owners to implement process improvement changes to reduce lead time, improve quality, reduce risk, and improve delivery scorecard
Requirements:
- A relevant degree/Btech in Industrial Engineering
- To have the ability to critically evaluate information
- An eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build and maintain healthy relationships
- To be self-motivated, and take responsibility for your own development
- A good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of BI systems (Advantageous)
