We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Selling Sales Manager to lead and drive the sales team while actively participating in the selling process. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a strong sales track record within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales and marketing efforts for both new and pre-owned vehicle departments.
- Actively engage in the sales process, closing deals and driving individual sales.
- Set and meet monthly sales targets for the team and for personal sales.
- Motivate, train, and manage the performance of the sales staff.
- Evaluate trade-ins, determine vehicle pricing, and manage stock efficiently.
- Report and liaise with head office on monthly sales performance and marketing strategies.
- Lead advertising efforts to promote inventory.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or Selling Sales Manager in the automotive industry.
- Extensive experience in vehicle sales with a proven ability to achieve personal and team targets.
- Experience working in a corporate-branded dealership.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid South African driver’s license and a clear criminal record.
- Grade 12 or equivalent; tertiary education is advantageous.
- Experience with Audi and Volkswagen brands is essential.
