We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager.
In this role, you will drive business growth by optimizing the warehousing, distribution, and importation processes while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. You will be responsible for achieving operational and budgetary targets, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Oversee and streamline critical operational functions, including inventory, P&P (Pick & Pack), distribution, budgeting, importation, compliance, and customer service.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain optimal inventory levels, eliminate obsolete materials, and reduce storage costs with third-party logistics providers.
- Develop methods for efficient P&P operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and cost reduction while meeting operational KPIs.
- Build relationships with transportation companies and support Global purchasing teams in price negotiations for Last Mile Delivery (LMD) tenders.
- Create, manage, and achieve operational department budgets, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Lead the importation process to ensure timely delivery of goods, collaborating with the Global planning team to improve stock availability.
- Ensure logistics operations comply with warehousing, transportation, and personnel regulations, while safeguarding warehouse security.
- Manage contact center activities to maintain customer service levels, and oversee communication with BrandPartners/Leaders through various media channels.
- Implement continuous training programs on new products, company rules, and delivery solutions, while monitoring and achieving customer service KPIs.
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the operations workforce to meet productivity targets.
- Define goals, allocate resources, and manage timelines and budgets for smooth, cost-effective project execution.
Candidate Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or Business Engineering.
- Minimum five years in supply chain/logistics/customer service management.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams across multiple locations.
- Experience in customer service management.
- "Hands-on" approach with a strategic perspective across all areas of operations.
- Experience in importation and customs clearance is preferred.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
