We are recruiting a Metal Galvanising Operative for our client based in Bradford.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Galvanising Operative to join a busy metal treatment and galvanising facility. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving general yard duties, manual handling and supporting the galvanising process.
The successful candidate will be working within a fast-paced industrial environment, helping to ensure metal products are prepared, processed and finished to the required standards.
Full training will be provided for candidates who have the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve preparing metal components for the galvanising process, including cleaning, handling and positioning materials ready for treatment. You will assist with loading and unloading metal products, moving materials around the yard and supporting the various stages of the galvanising operation.
Duties will also include general yard work, manual handling, operating equipment where trained, maintaining a clean and organised working area and following all health and safety procedures. You will be expected to work as part of a team to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience within a manufacturing, metal processing, galvanising or heavy industrial environment would be advantageous, although not essential as training will be provided.
Candidates must be physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual and repetitive work. A good attitude towards health and safety is essential, along with the ability to work in a busy industrial environment.

Working Hours
Rotating weekly shifts:
Early Shift: 6am – 2pm
Late Shift: 2pm – 10pm
