Learning Support Assistant - SEN School
Location: Oldham
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:40pm
Pay Rate: £16.78 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Oldham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and making a positive difference to their education and development.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support in the classroom.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
Support pupils with their communication, social skills and emotional development.
Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
Help create a safe, nurturing and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable).
Is patient, caring, reliable and enthusiastic.
Has a positive and flexible approach.
Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Is passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
