Sheet Metal Worker
Job Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent or we can offer this a LTD contractor
Salary: Upto £16.00 per hour
Plus, lots of overtime available at £24.00 per hour
Rates are depending on experience
LTD contractor rates £20 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.45pm & Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm
Overtime: There is a lot of overtime available at £24 and £26.50 for Ltd contractors
Overtime is mornings, Friday afternoons and the occasional Saturday morning
We need an experienced Sheet Metal operative to join a local engineering company. They have secured large contracts and in doing so require an additional operative to join their team.
The company makes industrial products such as cabinets and frames.
Your role will see you bend the metal into shape to then be used to build cabinets.
We can offer this position either as a permanent position or as a Ltd company contractor.
Working our of new premises on the industrial estate, this is a really nice company with a good team.
Some of your duties will include:

Working from drawings.

Cut, fold, form and finish metal sheeting.

Operate sheet metal machinery and various hand tools.

Carry out drilling, tapping and countersinking.
Experience required:

Previous sheet metal or fabrication experience.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Experience using sheet metal machinery and hand tools.
