Experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Required ASAP

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team at a highly regarded specialist SEND school supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, and would suit a dedicated individual with previous experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The Role
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
Working alongside teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning
Supporting pupils with autism, communication needs and complex learning difficulties
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Assisting with personal care where required
Helping students develop independence, life skills and confidence
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
Experience supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), SEMH, complex needs or learning difficulties
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Desirable Experience
SEN School experience
Learning Support Assistant experience
Teaching Assistant experience
Care, support work or residential childcare experience
Knowledge of EHCPs
Team Teach training
