Attendance Officer
Location: Ixworth High School
Salary: Scale 5 £26,427 – 6 £26,847 FTE. £23,212 - £23,581 Pro rata
Vacancy Type: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks
Ixworth High School is a small high school set in the picturesque Suffolk countryside.
The school is currently judged good across all areas by Ofsted in April 2025. The inspection team noted that “Ixworth is a happy school, where pupils know they are safe and well cared for”. They also noted the pupils behave well, are polite and engaging, with calm and purposeful classrooms.
THE ROLE
We are looking to recruit an efficient, flexible and reliable individual to join our attendance team and office Team. The successful applicant will be required to maintain and monitor student attendance, arrange meetings, and provide an efficient and effective administrative service. They will also support the student and main reception. Experience of working with school management systems would be an advantage.
Full training will be provided.
