Appointed Person – Decommissioning Project
Location: Fawley Refinery, Fawley, Southampton, SO45 1TX
Project: Petrochemical Decommissioning
Rate: £30.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
We are looking for an experienced Appointed Person to assist with managing on-site lifting operations on our decommissioning project at Fawley Petrochemical facility in Southampton.
This role would suit someone with strong lifting operations experience, ideally within a petrochemical, refinery, decommissioning or similar heavy industrial environment.
Qualifications / Certification
Candidates will require:

CPCS A61 – Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)

CPCS A62 – Lift Supervisor
-
CPCS A40 - Slinger/Signaller
-
Safety Critical Medical completed within the last 2 years – this can be arranged/provided if required
Experience
-
Previous experience working as an Appointed Person and supporting lifting operations

Experience managing and coordinating lifting activities on site

Previous experience within a petrochemical environment is preferred but not essential

Decommissioning, refinery or heavy industrial experience would be advantageous

Strong understanding of safe lifting operations and site safety requirements
