Assembly Operative

💷 Pay Rate: £14.19 per hour
🕒 Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00 | Friday, 07:30 – 13:00
📋 Contract: Temporary, Ongoing
We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established electrical manufacturing company based in Pershore.
The company specialises in supplying a wide range of products, from mechanical components to electrical systems and software.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous assembly or production experience who is looking for a long-term ongoing position.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembling small electrical and mechanical components.
Using hand and power tools during the assembly process.
Carrying out soldering tasks where required.
Quality checking assembled components to ensure they meet company standards.
Packing finished products ready for despatch.
Working towards daily production targets.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Assisting with other general assembly and production duties.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an assembly or production environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Previous soldering experience would be advantageous.
Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work towards production targets.
What's on Offer:
£14.19 per hour.
Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays.
Temporary, ongoing work.
