What if your next career move was about making a difference, not just doing another job?
COMPLIANCE CASE OFFICERS | THREE OPPORTUNITIES
Warwick • Permanent • Full-time • Hybrid working
Are you naturally curious? Someone who asks questions, spots the details others miss and enjoys getting to the bottom of things?
Perhaps you have worked in complaints, investigations, compliance, customer service, legal services or administration. Or perhaps your experience comes from a completely different sector, but you have a knack for solving problems, assessing information and making fair decisions. If so, we would love to talk.
Three vacancies. Three different people. One great team.
You will join experienced, approachable managers who know their subject, share their knowledge and encourage people to ask questions and contribute ideas. It is a genuinely collaborative environment where colleagues work with one another and want each other to succeed.
What will you be doing?
Imagine hearing two very different versions of the same event. Your job is to ask the right questions, examine the evidence and work towards a fair, well-supported outcome.
-
Review complaints, case files and evidence to establish the facts.
-
Assess potential breaches of professional standards and membership rules.
-
Communicate with members, complainants and other stakeholders, including during difficult conversations.
-
Manage a caseload, develop sound judgements and prepare clear findings and recommendations.
-
Contribute to case review meetings and, with support, present cases at disciplinary and appeal hearings.
-
Help identify ways to improve policies, processes and the service the team provides.
Who would thrive here?
You do not need previous experience in the organisation’s particular sector or knowledge of its rules. Direct investigations experience is welcome, but strong transferable skills can be just as valuable.
-
An inquisitive, analytical mind and the ability to consider evidence objectively.
-
Clear, confident and empathetic written and verbal communication.
-
Excellent attention to detail, accurate records and a methodical approach.
-
Experience applying policies, procedures, standards or regulations, in any sector.
-
The confidence to take ownership, ask questions and challenge ideas constructively.
-
A collaborative attitude, good organisation and enthusiasm for learning.
You might come from complaints resolution, financial services, insurance, housing, legal administration, regulation, customer service or a completely different field. We would also welcome someone earlier in their career who has the right foundations and real potential.
Why join this organisation?
The organisation is investing in its Compliance function and in the people who will shape it. You will receive structured induction, guided learning, supervised casework, coaching and support from experienced colleagues. You can grow into more complex work and potentially develop specialist knowledge in areas such as Client Money Protection.
