Chilled Production Operative
Cranbrook, Kent | Permanent, full-time | Monday to Friday
£13.01 per hour, paid weekly, plus a £40 weekly attendance bonus when earned
Found Recruitment is looking for a Chilled Production Operative to join a food production team in the Cranbrook area. This is a hands-on role with regular daytime hours and on-the-job training.
What you’ll do
You’ll portion chilled food into containers, check each pack on the scales, adjust the weight where needed and seal it ready for storage. An experienced colleague will work alongside you while you learn.
The production area is cold and wet, and the work involves repetitive scooping and lifting containers weighing up to 10 kg. The role would suit someone who enjoys active work, can keep a steady pace and pays attention to the weight and finish of each pack.
Hours, pay and benefits
Hours. 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The expected shift is 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, although a 6.00 am to 2.30 pm shift also operates.
Pay. £520.40 before deductions for a 40-hour week. Attend every shift on time to earn the full £40 weekly attendance bonus, bringing your weekly pay to £560.40
