We are recruiting for a skilled Joiner/Fabricator to join our clients’ growing team at their manufacturing facility based in Newton Aycliffe.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in joinery or general fabrication.
Working within their manufacturing workshop, you will be involved in the fabrication, assembly and finishing of bespoke products, working with a range of materials to produce high-quality components and finished installations for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting materials to precise specifications.
- Carrying out assembly, bonding, sanding and finishing work.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications.
- Using a range of machinery and hand tools.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in joinery, bench joinery, fabrication or manufacturing.
- Can read and understand technical drawings.
- Is confident using machinery and hand tools.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Is reliable, hardworking and motivated
