Furniture Installer / Handyman – Relocation & Office Furniture, Commercial and Residential
Are you a skilled Furniture Fitter, Installer or Handyman looking for your next opportunity?
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Furniture Installer / Relocation Fitter to join a busy and established relocation operation.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with practical fitting, assembly, installation or general handyman experience. You'll be responsible for installing and assembling furniture, carrying out dismantling work and supporting commercial office relocations.
We're particularly interested in people who take pride in their workmanship, have a practical approach to problem-solving and aren't afraid to get stuck in.
The Role – What You'll Be Doing

Assembling, dismantling and installing office and commercial furniture.

Fitting desks, chairs, cabinets, shelving, workstations and other furniture.

Carrying out general handyman duties and minor maintenance tasks.

Supporting office and commercial relocations.

Working alongside the relocation porter team, assisting with the loading, unloading, moving and positioning of furniture and equipment.

Getting involved in general relocation porter duties when required, including packing, wrapping, handling and transporting furniture.

Assisting with furniture moves, installations and office reconfigurations.

Using hand tools and power tools to complete fitting and installation work.

Working both independently and as part of a team.

Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
-
Previous experience as a Furniture Fitter, Furniture Installer, Handyman, Joiner or Maintenance Technician.

Must have your own set of tools suitable for furniture assembly, fitting and installation work.

Confident using a range of hand tools and power tools.

Confident using hand tools and power tools.

Experience assembling, dismantling and fitting furniture.

Good practical skills and an eye for detail.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

A flexible attitude and willingness to assist with relocation porter duties when required.

Reliable, punctual and professional when working at customer sites.

A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
